We used Service America up until last year when they went out of business and little did we know that it would work in our favor! With one phone call to ECM, we were efficiently enrolled for identical coverage and we couldn't be more pleased. Calls for appointments are rapidly handled and the wait time is usually only a day or two. The service technicians arrive promptly, are polite and courteous, and take the time to explain their solution to your problem. They are professional with years of experience and have a high degree of knowledge, which provides a sense of security for the homeowner. We have been customers of ECM for 20 years. Over these years we have had two ACs, three garbage disposals, a water heater replaced and numerous other appliances repaired in addition to plumbing issues. The customer service of this company is top notch from the office staff to the technicians. Everyone is pleasant and wait times are short. I have used ECM to replace my old AC unit 5 years ago. Everything was working flawlessly since then. We recently had an issue with the internal compressor and they came promptly and replaced the faulty parts (which were still under manufacturer’s warranty). Overall, they provide great service and prompt response. I will use them again if needed and would highly recommend to my friends.

Came home from a trip on Friday 12-27 and A/C not cooling. Called Saturday AM and they were at my home early Monday morning. It was a relief to have a human being answer my call, not a computerized Q and A system. On Thursday, the day after New Year’s day the new A/C unit was installed on the roof of our build and a new circulation system installed in the ceiling. The techs were very professional and when the job was done they completely explained how to operate the system. (all setting etc.). I am 100% satisfied and thankful the we have ECM when we need them.

I have had an ECM home service contract for about the past 10 years. Every time I called for service, they responded they were very prompt in servicing the appliance. The technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. Work was performed in a very professional manner and to our satisfaction. Recently ECM installed a new AC system. Once again, the technicians did a high quality job. Based jupon my experiences with ECM I can recommend them without reservations.

We had 3 interactions with ECM over the past few months. This summer the thermostat on our AC stopped working. ECM came and replaced the thermostat in timely manner. Recently, we had AC check and tune-up. The tech arrived within the promised time frame. He found the 15 year old unit had lost coolant and recommended replacing the unit, to which we agreed. The installation team also arrived on time, around 10 o’clock. Unfortunately, they encountered a problem during the latter stages of the installation which I felt could have been handled in a more efficient and timely manner. As a result, they did not complete the install until 5:30, which prevented us from having supper at home. However, the new AC is working great!

I noticed that my old water heater was leaking water so I called ECM. They set up an appointment later that same day and sent a technician over to look at the water heater and advise me of my options. He took all the info down and said someone from ECM would get back to us the next morning which they did with all the details and cost of a new water heater. I agreed and we made an appointment for later that day. Technician came on time and installed the unit without any difficulty. He later explained to me everything I needed to know about the equipment.I could not have been more satisfied with the entire process. Quick appointments, tech arriving on time. Neat and clean installation. Very happy.

December 12, 2019Have been an ECM customer for many years. Investigated many service companies before I signed with ECM and I'm happy that I did. They have great customer service, technicians that are excellent, and always on time when a service call is scheduled. The annual air conditioner service contract has great coverage and is an excellent value. I'd highly recommend ECM to anyone looking for a good, reliable, AC service company.
