Service Contract

ECM Service Contract Difference

Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or you’ve owned your home for several years, having a Service Contract service contract is an essential aspect of homeownership. It provides a safety net for appliances needing repairs or replacements, relieving you of the high costs. With a Service Contract contract, you can rest assured that your covered appliances and system components are taken care of.

You may have heard about home warranties or know someone who has one, but you might need clarification on what they are and what they cover. A Service Contract contract covers unlimited service calls, labor, and repairs for your kitchen appliances, washer, dryer, and water heater. There are several home service contracts to choose from, so it’s crucial to understand the differences between the companies you’re considering.

When selecting a Service Contract provider, here are some key factors to consider:

  1. Coverage Options: Coverage varies depending on the provider.
  2. Some may include additional systems and appliances like HVAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, and even pool equipment. Review what each plan covers to ensure it meets your needs.
  3. Cost: Compare the costs of different plans. This includes the annual or monthly premiums and any service fees or deductibles you might be required to pay when a service call is made.
  4. Reputation and Reviews: Look for reviews and ratings from current or previous customers. This can give you insight into the company’s customer service quality, reliability, and overall satisfaction.
  5. Service Network: Check if the warranty provider has a robust network of service technicians in your area. A well-established network can ensure quicker response times and more efficient service.
  6. Contract Terms: Carefully read the terms, including any exclusions or limitations. Some warranties may have caps on coverage amounts or exclude certain types of repairs or replacements.
  7. Customer Support: Don’t forget the human touch when it comes to warranties! A top-notch warranty provider should provide customer service quicker than a cheetah on roller skates and be more helpful than a Swiss Army knife.
  8. By thoroughly researching and comparing Service Contract providers, you can find a plan that offers the protection and peace of mind you need as a homeowner. This process is like a compass for your decision-making journey, pointing you toward a Service Contract that will be your trusty guide, leading you through the treacherous terrain of unexpected repair costs and ensuring your home remains a sanctuary of comfort and peace of mind.

What Makes ECM Service Contracts Different

ECM (East Coast Mechanical) is located in Boynton Beach, and we have been servicing Broward, Palm Beach, Martin Counties, and Indian River Counties for over 30 years. ECM is a family-owned company that has been taking care of the A/C, plumbing, electrical, and home service warranty needs (including appliances) of South Floridians since 1985.

ECM’s technicians are highly trained, certified professionals who get the job done right the first time. We offer traditional Service Contract contracts that lock you into one set price without any additional costs or deductibles. We also offer two types of Service Contract plans: traditional and deductible.

Our traditional extended service contract does not include a deductible on covered equipment. There are no service fees or costs per visit. Other Service Contract providers do not offer traditional contracts. ECM’s deductible contracts include a $45 deductible at the time of service, which is a great savings. Remember that for less than $1 a day, your home’s mechanical systems will be protected for one year. ECM provides unlimited protection, with technicians available on the same day or the next day. We will always repair the product and if we can’t repair a product we will replace it up to the maximum replacement limit on the Service Contract agreement.

You must register your appliances and A/C within 30 days of the purchase date. ECM registers your appliances, A/C, and equipment on the manufacturer’s website portal, ensuring you get the full warranty. If you purchase a new A/C that is not registered within 30 days, your warranty will last five years rather than the full 10 years they offer. We make sure you’re fully covered.

Benefits of Working with ECM

  • Highly Trained Certified Technicians: Our technicians are skilled professionals who ensure each job is done correctly the first time.
  • Local Company with Same Day/Next Day Appointments: Our local provider status allows us to offer prompt service, often within the same day or the next day.
  • Traditional Service Contract Service Contracts: We provide straightforward contracts without hidden fees or deductibles.
  • Variety of Service Contract Contracts: Choose from multiple plans to find the best fit for your needs.
  • Customizable Service Contract Plans: Tailor your plan to cover specific products or provide comprehensive home coverage.
  • Personalized Service and Immediate Response Time: Enjoy the benefits of working with a local company that values attention to detail.
  • Extensive Inventory: We maintain over $1 million to ensure quick and efficient service.
  • Industry-Leading Response Time: We pride ourselves on having the fastest response times in the industry.
  • Unlimited Service Calls, Labor, and Repairs: For an entire year, you will receive full coverage for parts and labor on covered equipment.

What You Get with Other Service Contract Providers

  • Remote Call Centers and Subcontractors: Many providers operate out of state and use small, unknown subcontractors, potentially leading to lower-quality work.
  • High Deductibles: Common deductibles range from $75 to $125 per service call.
  • Lack of Traditional Contracts: Most only offer contracts with deductibles.
  • Impersonal Service: Larger companies often need a more personal touch and attention to detail found in local, family-owned businesses.

Why Choose ECM?

When you choose a Service Contract contract from ECM, you are guaranteed that our technicians are trained, certified, and reliable. Investing in a Service Contract plan is like having a safety net for your wallet, ready to catch you if unexpected repair costs come knocking. Appliances typically need repairs and may break down at least thrice yearly. Older A/C units and appliances often have longer lifespans compared to newer models. With a Service Contract plan, you can enjoy peace of mind, knowing you’re covered when these inevitable breakdowns occur.

Without a Service Contract plan, repair costs can add up quickly. An ECM Service Contract plan provides peace of mind, especially during critical times like a summer A/C breakdown. You can trust ECM for timely, professional service with qualified technicians who get the job done right.
